Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
The
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is awarded
by APICS to candidates who have
five years of related business experience experience. APICS defines “related business experience” as work that is directly connected to some aspect of the supply chain. This can include raw materials extraction, transportation and logistics, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, retail, customer service, software design and support, and other areas that directly affect the supply chain. Areas of
proficiency include:
- Aligning supply chain processes and capabilities with strategic business goals
- Understanding organizational roles and infrastructures in the supply chain
- Managing material, information, and financial flows
- Understanding and managing intra- and inter-organizational relationships
- Selecting and leveraging technologies to enable effective process management

Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
The
Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) is awarded
by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) to candidates who have 10
years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the
CMQ/OE Body of Knowledge.
A minimum of five years of this experience must be in a decision-making
position, defined as the authority to define, execute or control
projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcomes. Areas of
proficiency include:
- Leadership
- Strategic plan development and deployment
- Management elements and methods
- Quality management tools
- Customer-focused organizations
- Supply chain management
- Training and development

by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) to candidates who have three years of work experience related to the Body of Knowledge. Certified Six Sigma Green Belts apply tools and techniques from the DMAIC model - define, measure, analyze, improve and control. Areas of
